One Foot Raised Project

 On the 27th August Sevenhill parishioners joined the  Jesuit Mission appeal for Myanmar by participating in a walking challenge as part of Jesuit Mission Australia’s One Foot Raised initiative.  St Ignatius Loyola and his companions lived with ‘one foot raised’, always on the journey forward in hope, seeking the more universal good. As we celebrate the 175th anniversary of the arrival of the Jesuits in the Clare Valley this year and the establishment of the first Jesuit Mission in Australia, it was wonderful to walk in their footsteps and reflect on their legacy.
